Why only cheer girls.. why not cheer boys !!!!!!!!!

Was watching IPL last night. RCB vs DD , I have no favorite as such. IPL has made me lose interest in the game. But then was wondering why only "Cheer Girls" in any sport, why not "Cheer Boys" ???
